MILFORD (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Once police identified a suspect in the robbery of a store in Milford, they didn't need to look far to put him in jail since he was already there.
Having been picked up on a warrant, 42-year-old Richard Moloney was locked up at Cumberland County Jail. His stay there ended on Tuesday, June 19 when he was transferred to Penobscot County Jail. Upon his arrival in Bangor, he was charged with robbing the County Road Market in Milford.
Police said Moloney was the man who took money from the clerk at gunpoint on June 10.
Moloney's bail at Penobscot County Jail was set at $25,000. His case is due to be heard Wednesday, June 20, at the Penobscot Judicial Center.
