Weather Notes:It looks like an ugly day is in store for southern Maine and New Hampshire. We will see periods of heavy rain and very windy conditions, especially along the coast. There will be some high elevation sleet/snow early but that should turn over to rain by the afternoon. By the way, northern Maine will just see a glancing blow from this storm in the afternoon with some rain and snow showers, all on the light side. This evening we will see off and on rain along the coast with strong winds. Also of note will be the lowering freezing level...which means snow/sleet will become more common inland. This storm sticks around through around mid day tomorrow and then clearing begins from north to south. After that, it's clear sailing through the rest of the work week. Have a nice day and, just so you know, I didn't draw that creepy leprechaun...it's part of our graphics system. Wasn't he in a Halloween movie?
