  Weather Notes: We are nine days into February and still only a trace of snowfall at the Portland Jetport. So far this season Portland has recorded 33.8 inches of snow while at Dulles Airport in Washington D.C. the snow total stands at 63.5 inches with another foot possible today!! There is no snow in our forecast today as an approaching ridge of high pressure will give us increasing amounts of sunshine and very pleasant temperatures for the time of year along with lighter winds. Another storm will be approaching the east coast tonight and then track off the coast on Wednesday. This could bring several inches of snow to the southern third of New Hampshire as well as Southern York County in Maine. Not all the models agree so stay tuned for updates on the system tomorrow. Once the storm moves away more brisk,cold but quiet weather will return for Thursday and Friday.The weekend looks OK as well.
