A wintry mix is expected, Monday. Some areas of snow will break out early into Monday morning in a few areas. Areas of freezing rain and sleet are also likely. I'm expecting most of the snow to change over to a rain/snow mix or all rain into late Monday morning and afternoon for coastal areas. This will help keep snow totals down. Where colder air will stay locked in place, is where we will see more in the way of snow accumulation. This is primarily for Central and Northern Maine, where a few inches of snow is possible.
High temperatures will stay in the mid 30s for many spots, today. Traveling for your morning and evening commutes, Monday, may be a little slick. Please be careful and give yourself extra time.
Here is a look at the timeline for Monday:
A few more showers are possible, Tuesday. We will start to dry out and return to the sunshine for the second half of the upcoming week.
Have a great day!
