The ridge of high pressure that brought us all the sunshine over the weekend will remain in control of our weather through Tuesday. A weak disturbance may put some high clouds in the sky Tuesday afternoon but other than that look for another mostly sunny day with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. A weakening cold front will bring more clouds on Wednesday so that day is looking to be partly sunny and then another ridge of high pressure is expected to take control on Thanksgiving day bringing more sunshine. On Friday a stronger cold front will be moving our way with a southerly flow developing. This should transport warmer air into New England making Friday the warmest day of the week. This warming promises to be short lived because a strong cold front is going to move through our region on Saturday. As the front pushes through we stand a good chance of seeing some rain showers followed by much colder temperatures on Sunday. The 6-10 day forecast is calling for below normal temperatures and above normal precipitation so we could be in for some messy weather next week.
