Not a bad day across the Pine Tree State, although as promised, eastern and coastal counties did experience some cloud cover and showers earlier today (Saturday.) The frontal boundary that moved through last night igniting some periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms has stalled just to our east, and it appears that front will be hanging around in that position for the next few days. It does appear that front will be far enough offshore, so I don't think we will see much in the way of cloud cover or showers during the day on Sunday. If we do see any significant cloud cover, it will be found during the morning in easternmost Maine during the morning hours.
Monday looks pleasant, but an area of low pressure riding along that stalled-out frontal boundary will likely bring some increasing clouds with a chance of showers Monday night and into the day on Tuesday. Once that low passes through, it appears we're in for a pleasant pattern for the rest of the week. Enjoy!
