Dew points are back in the mid to upper 60s and chances are you felt a big difference in the air if you spent any time outdoors today. It seems we have had more than our share of muggy weather this summer and with this humid air now in place we can expect even more. A few showers and thunderstorms broke out this afternoon and this will continue tonight and again on Friday. The activity will become more widespread Friday night as a cold front moves our way. The front is expected to move through our region on Saturday so showers or thunderstorms are likely on that day. Behind the front I think we'll see some improvement on Sunday as drier air moves in allowing for some sunshine. The atmosphere will still be a bit unstable so there could be a few isolated showers as well. Monday is looking very nice as a ridge of high pressure builds to our south.
