We were off to a hot and humid start to the weekend, and unfortunately Sunday brings no relief to the humidity. We could see some thunderstorms break out tomorrow afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. That cold front will pass through northern New England during Sunday night, and finally by Monday drier air will start to head our way.

Tonight - Dewpoint values are going to be in the 60s which means for us a muggy night ahead. Lows will also remain in the 60s, and widespread fog will develop.

Sunday - Things are looking pretty overcast to start the day. It will take a while for the fog and hazy conditions to clear on out, but by midmorning we should start to see some breaks of sun. Brighter skies as we head into the afternoon, but scattered thunderstorms will pop up mid to late afternoon. Best chance for that activity will be in western and southern Maine as well as over New Hampshire. Highs will once again warm into the 80s for inland locations. A little cooler at the coast with highs in the 70s.

Sunday Night - Mostly cloudy skies. The cold front passing through will give us the chance of showers and thunderstorms during the overnight. That front will make its way to the coast by Monday morning.   

Extended Forecast - Showers and thunderstorms come to an end Monday morning as the front moves off shore. Skies will clear and temperatures will once again warm into the 80s. There will be a little relief from the humidity, but it is really Tuesday that we get into the real comfortable conditions. Sunny skies expected for both Tuesday and Wednesday. It looks beautiful! Sunny start to the day Thursday with the chance of thunderstorms during the afternoon. A stalled front will keep our weather unsettled for Friday and Saturday. The result...plenty of clouds, and showers.
