A warm front that was located along the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border this afternoon is going to be the focal point for showers and thunderstorms tonight. An area of low pressure is expected to track eastward along the front enhancing the precipitation. The low will slowly move away from us on Friday and that should allow for some hazy sunshine to develop which could result in showers or thunderstorms popping up. Another area of low pressure is going to slowly move across our region over the weekend keeping the threat of showers or thunderstorms in our forecast for both Saturday and Sunday. A ridge of high pressure will finally arrive on Monday but it won't be here for very long and by Tuesday the threat of showers or thunderstorms will be with us once again.
