After a cloudy start to the day it felt nice to get back into some sunshine this afternoon. High pressure will continue to build into northern New England over the next two days so we will be enjoying a couple nice days in a row. Like last week our weather will turn unsettled come midweek. The good news is that things will be clearing out just in time for the weekend.
Tonight - Clear to partly skies. Tonight is the night of the Supermoon. It is the biggest and brightest full moon of the year! Still a little bit of a breeze outside. Lows will dip to around 40 degrees.
Sunday - A mix of sun and clouds. Towns southwest of Bangor will have some high clouds during the first half of the day. Those clouds will then clear out for the afternoon and everyone will get into sunny skies. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid to low 60s. A little cooler at the coast with and afternoon seabreeze.
Sunday Night - Quiet night. Clear skies and light winds will allow the temperatures to drop into the 30s.
Extended Forecast - Monday will be a fantastic start to the work week. Skies will be sunny and high temps will push 70 degrees in some places. Clouds will be on the increase Tuesday with rain arriving late in the day. This rain continues into Wednesday and will be heavy at times. Still some scattered showers out there on Thursday, but things will start to clear up by the end of the work week. Saturday looks beautiful with mostly sunny skies.
