After three days of clouds and soggy air today's sunshine came as a welcome change. Clouds were on the increase by sunset and these were out ahead of a frontal system that is going to move through our region tonight. Behind the front look for a mostly sunny Saturday with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. If you plan to hit the slopes it should be at least partly sunny in the mountains with temperatures in the 20s. A storm system will pass by to our south on Sunday and while it won't bring us any precipitation it will pull down colder air from Canada so temperatures that day should stay in the 20s just about everywhere. Warmer air is expected for Monday and then another surge of colder air should arrive during the day on Tuesday. There are still no major storms in sight.
