Big Papi hits 2 home runs in Sox win


The Red Sox have a golden opportunity to begin putting themselves back into playoff contention starting tonight in Toronto. Boston looked like a well oiled machine rolling over the Blue Jays 14-1. It was a big night for David Ortiz who picked up two home runs passing Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski with 453 career homers to take possession of 36th place on the all-time list. Mike Napoli and Stephen Drew also had success at bat each launching homers of their own at Rogers Centre .Boston now winners of five in a row now move past Tampa Bay in the standings. Boston and Toronto tee off again tomorrow.
