BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (NEWS CENTER) - The Sea Dogs bid for a straight win fell short in extra innings as the Binghamton Mets came back to beat Portland 5-4 in 10 innings.

Kyle Johnson's sacrifice fly scored Cory Vaughn for the game-winning run.

Portland's offense was led by Deven Marrero (2 hits, 2 RBI), Shannon Wilkerson (2 runs), and Mookie Betts (a run, an RBI). Betts has now reached safely in 46 straight games.

Starter Keith Couch pitched 6 innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks with 2 strikeouts. Miguel Celestino (0-1) took the loss.

Portland (12-5) will start a three-game series with Trenton at Hadlock Field on Friday.
