Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Twitter Tuesday morning announced a web-based Profile redesign, slugged "A Whole New You."
In a blog post Tuesday morning, Twitter showed examples of a new website profile look that will start rolling out to users immediately, with their goal being to feature photos more prominently, featured content, and more.
The new profile design is available immediately to only a small group of Twitter users, with the wider roll-out to all users progressively over the next few weeks.
Included in the new web profile design is a new, larger header photo, highlights of your most popular tweets, that got the most attention and response on the social network, along with the ability to pin one of your favorite Tweets to the top of your page.
Another new feature of the web navigation on Twitter is the ability to filter Tweets when browsing other users' profiles, based on viewing all Tweets, Tweets sent with an image or video, or viewing Tweets with replies or responses.
The new web profile design has been activated for a number of high-profile Twitter users, including:
FrenchTV host @nikosaliagas

First Lady Michelle Obama @flotus
Brazilian singer, guitarist, and songwriter @gilbertogil
