PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The First Friday Art Walk and circus performers kick off the Old Port Festival, a three-day long festival in downtown Portland. The festival expanded to three days this years and has new acts and activities.
The Circus Conservatory of America will perform Friday and Saturday in Monument Square. There will also be a downtown scavenger hunt and working waterfront tour on Saturday. Sunday will resemble the more "traditional" Old Port Fest, with street vendors and musical performances on six stages.
The event typically draws between 30,000 to 40,000 people.
