HOLLIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A Massachusetts man will likely lose his foot after a motorcycle accident in Hollis.
According to police, Armand Lambert was turning onto River Road from Saco Road Saturday morning, and he took the turn too fast.
Lambert drifted into the opposite lane, where he laid his bike down. Police believe he injured his foot on impact. They say that speed was a factor in the accident.
Moments later, Lambert was struck by a car. There are no charges against the person driving the car.
Lambert was transported to Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Police said his foot will likely have to be amputated.
