LIMINGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Severe weather rocked some southern Maine towns Monday afternoon.

There was a tornado warning issued in York and Cumberland Counties for about 24 minutes.

Heavy rain and winds swept through towns around Sebago Lake, including Standish, Frye Island, and North Windham.

There was also considerable storm damage along Route 117 in Limington and Hollis, as well as Paul's Way.

In addition to the damage in Limington and Hollis, Cumberland County dispatch confirmed a man was struck by lightning on Long Lake in Naples. The man was taken to the hospital, but there's no word on his condition.
