DOVER, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- Three men charged with killing an 18-year-old from New Hampshire went before a judge Thursday. Prosecutors allege the men stabbed Aaron Wilkinson on his property in Madbury, New Hampshire. His body was discovered 20 miles away along a road in Lebanon, Maine.
Zachary Pinette, Michael Tatum and Tristan Wolusky were arraigned in Dover Thursday afternoon. They are being held without bail.
Prosecutors allege all three had a plan to kill Wilkinson.
The say Pinette drove Tatum and Wolusky from Maine to Wilkinson's home in Madbury early Saturday morning. Wilkinson was stabbed several times with knives and a machete.
Wilkinson apparently knew all three of the suspects but prosecutors won't say why he was killed.
'Motive is not something that state has to prove in a case, it is not the element of our offense, it is not in the complaint it is something we would address at trial, ' said Jeffrey Strelzin, Seniors Assistant Attorney General.
A candellight vigil for Wilkinson, is planned at Swayze Park in Exeter, beginning at 8 p.m. All three suspects are due back in court on July 14th.
