WEST BATH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police are asking for the public's help finding out who vandalized several cars on a used car lot.

On Saturday morning, employees at New Meadows Auto Sales realized that nineteen vehicles in their lot had been scratched. That's almost their entire inventory. The auto dealer has insurance, but the owner says the value of the cars will likely go down, and they will lose business while the cars are being repaired.

"You know, you work so hard to get customers to come on your lot and then they see something like that and it's a big turnoff" owner Tony Bonzagni said.

The auto dealer is located on a busy road, and Police say there were lots of cars driving by. They are asking anyone who with information to call the Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Department at 207-443-8529.
