MADISON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A man who gained notoriety for a realistic-looking tattoo of a gun on his waist was arrested Friday.

Michael Smith, of Norridgewock, was arrested after he allegedly showed up at a deputy's home with drugs in his backpack and a real gun in his waistband.

Smith was charged with stealing prescription narcotics from his girlfriend. He was released from the Somerset County Jail on a $1,000 cash bail.
