WESTBROOK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Last week, Westbrook Police Officers responded to 485 calls for service, 3 threatening complaints, 5 harassment reports, 11 juvenile matters, 12 thefts, 16 disturbance calls, 22 motor vehicle accidents, 29 suspicious incidents and 101 traffic stops. Those incidents resulted in the following arrests and criminal charges.

Sunday, June 1st: Just after midnight, Officers arrested sixty-two-year-old Stephen P. Kent Jr. of North Weymouth, Massachusetts for Operating Under the Influence during a traffic stop on Main Street. At about 5:30 pm Officers charged forty-three-year-old Suzanne I. Turner of Portland with Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle during a traffic stop on Larrabee Road.

Monday, June 2nd: At about 3:00 am Officers investigating a single vehicle crash on Methodist Road charged twenty-year-old Jacob A. Demmons of Westbrook with Operating Under the Influence, Operating Without a License, Operating After Suspension, Violation of Conditional Release and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. At about 10:45 am Officers on Stroudwater Street following up on a fight that occurred at Westbrook High School on Saturday, charged eighteen-year-old Collin J. Joyce with Disorderly Conduct and Refusing to Submit to Arrest. At about 11:30 pm Officers charged thirty-six-year-old Willie York III of Standish with Operating After Suspension during a traffic stop on Conant Street.

Tuesday, June 3rd: Just after 8:00 am Officers arrested thirty-one-year-old Justin L. Moore of Westbrook for Operating Under the Influence and Violation of Conditional Release during a traffic stop on Cumberland Street. At about 11:15 am an incident on Main Street resulted in the arrest of fifty-seven-year-old Ruth A. Doak of Westbrook for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. At about 1:00 pm Officers conducting a follow up investigation of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday, charged twenty-five-year-old Andrew Warming and twenty-one-year-old Shayna Fox, both of Westbrook, with Furnishing Liquor to a Minor. Fox was also charged with Allowing Minors to Possess / Consume Liquor. At about 3:00 pm Officers investigated a shoplifting complaint from Shaw's Supermarket on Main Street. Twenty-one-year-old Renaldo R. Lowry of Westbrook was subsequently identified and charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking. At about 4:15 pm Officers responding to a complaint on Dunn Street charged a thirteen-year-old Westbrook boy with Theft by Unauthorized Taking.

Wednesday, June 4th: At about 9:15 am, Officers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Saco Street arrested twenty-six-year-old Chrystal G. Alexander of Portland for Operating Under the Influence, Operating After Suspension and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Shortly after 11:00 am Officers arrested thirty-seven-year-old Christopher L. Perry of Biddeford for Operating After Suspension and two Arrest Warrants during a traffic stop on Church Street.

Thursday, June 5th: At about 10:30 am Officers responding to a complaint on Central Street arrested thirty-two-year-old Tina M. Seavey of Westbrook on an Arrest Warrant. At about 2:00 pm Officers investigating a disturbance on Brown Street arrested twenty-five-year-old Justin H. Knudsen of Westbrook on an Arrest Warrant. At about 3:00 pm a shoplifting complaint from Kohl's Department Store on Main for Theft by Unauthorized Taking. Officers responding to a disturbance on County Road at about 11:30 pm arrested thirty-one-year-old Ryan J. Poissonnier of Edgecomb for Operating Under the Influence. At about the same time Officers on Libby Avenue arrested thirty-three-year-old Jesse McAvoy of Westbrook on an Arrest Warrant.

Friday, June 6th: At about 8:30 am Officers charged twenty-nine-year-old Sandra L. Scott of Westbrook with Operating After Suspension during a traffic stop on Main Street. At about 12:45 pm Officers investigating a shoplifting complaint from Kohl's Department Store charged twenty-one-year-old Maggie L. Brown of Falmouth with Theft by Unauthorized Taking. At about 2:15 pm a motor vehicle complaint on Juniper Lane led to sixty-six-year-old James T. Barrett of Westbrook being charged with Operating After License Revocation (Habitual Offender). Shortly after 8:00 pm Officers investigating a report of an underage drinking party in the woods off of Bridge Street arrested twenty-two-year-old Brian J. Bancroft of Portland for Furnishing Liquor to Minors. Eighteen-year-old William Wilcox of Portland, eighteen-year-old Donkell Bolton of Portland, eighteen-year-old Caleb Lewis of Westbrook and twenty-year-old Timothy Flaherty of Westbrook were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Liquor by a Minor. Two seventeen-year-old boys from Portland and Windham, a sixteen-year-old boy from Yarmouth and a fourteen-year-old boy from Windham were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Liquor by a Juvenile. The seventeen-year-old from Portland was taken to the Long Creek Youth Development Center on a Probation Violation at the request of his Juvenile Community Corrections Officer. The three other juveniles were released to their parents.

Saturday, June 7th: At about 10:40 pm Officers responding to a disturbance on Rochester Street arrested thirty-eight-year-old Eric J. Knight of Conway, New Hampshire for Violation of Conditional Release.

As always, all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court.
