WATERVILLE, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State police have arrested a man and charged him with killing a 92-year-old man from Waterville.
44-year-old Roland Cummings was taken into custody Friday afternoon. Cummings knew Aurele Fecteau and did household chores for him in the past. Cummings grew up in the Bingham and Waterville areas, and is not employed. Detectives said Fecteau was stabbed to death in his bed and that Fecteau's house had been burglarized. His body was found on May 23.
Cummings is charged with murder and will make his first appearance in Kennebec Superior Court next week.
