SOUTH THOMASTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A young man from South Thomaston is charged with 3 counts of endangering a child and operating under the influence after a car accident.
It happened at 7:15 P.M. Friday night.
Police say 26-year-old Derrick Woodward was driving on Westbrook Street when he failed to handle a curve and skidded off the road.
Police say when they got to the scene they found 3 kids in the car. They were all under the age of 7.
They weren't hurt.
Police say there was a 30 pack of beer in the car and one of the cans was open.
