BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- On April 3 at about 2:30 p.m. the Bangor Police Department received a report of a robbery having occurred at the Maine Savings Federal Credit Union on Broadway.
Bangor Police officers and detectives responded to the scene. It was reported that a white male subject entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect then fled the bank on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, approx 5'5" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue zip up hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a ball cap on. He was wearing blue jeans and black sneakers. The suspect was also wearing aviator style sunglasses and had some sort of white cloth covering his face. He was last seen fleeing on foot from the back side of the bank towards TJ Maxx.
Maine State Police units responded with a K-9 and attempted a track of the suspect. Based on the K-9's track it is believed the suspect entered a vehicle in the parking lot of TJ Maxx and left the area.
