PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- The Portsmouth Police Department received a call from a female reporting that she was threatened by a male associate of hers.
The female stated that while she was stopped at a red light on Woodbury Ave, Darnell Austin, 39, stopped next to her and made threatening statements while pointing a gun at her. The female caller provided a detailed description of Mr. Austin, and the vehicle he was driving along with the registration number.
Portsmouth Police located the vehicle at the Portsmouth Public Library and Mr. Austin was taken into custody.
Mr. Austin is currently held on $10,000 cash bail with an arraignment date of Friday April 4, at the Portsmouth District Court.
