OSWEGO, New York (NEWS CENTER) - The Bowdoin men's hockey team was going through their usual pre-game routine before their NCAA first-round game when two unusual developments occurred: the game being postponed and their bus being involved in an accident.

Astate of emergency was issued in Oswego County, resulting in the Oswego State campus being shut downand the Polar Bears game against the Lakers being postponed to Thursday at 3 p.mdue to the winter storm.

While that was in the works, the team was having their pre-game meal atCanale's, a nearby restaurant.

According to theBowdoin athleticdepartment, thebus was parked on ahill close to the restaurant, but started to slowly slide down the hill given the ice that had accumulated. The bus eventually rolled into the restaurant's front awning.

Nobody was on the bus. Nobody was injured in the restaurant. No word on the extend of the damage to the restaurant.
