PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Find yourself making up excuses on why you can't make it to the gym? Try adding a child to the mix! Tumble Tikes Gym in Portland has created a baby bootcamp that helps make working out a family event. Parents are able to get a quality sweat session in and kids get to have fun.

Don't let the word bootcamp scare you. Tumble Tikes owner Kim DeMado says that the Tabata structure the class follows is a great way to ease yourself back into your workouts. These 4 minute high intensity session offer a number of modifications to help you build strength.

Speaking of strength, back issues seem to be the biggest complaint among parents. To help combat that, a good portion of the class is focused on strengthening the core.
