MOUNT DESERT ISLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --A judge ruled in favor of the National Park Service, paving the way for Dawnland, LLC, owned by New Mexico-Based Ortega Family Enterprises, to become the next concessioner to provide food and beverage service at Acadia National Park.

Acadia Corporationhas provided food and bevearges servicesto Acadia National Park or neary 80 years. In February, Acadia Corporation contested the National Park Service's decision to make New Mexico-based Dawnland, LLC, as the new concessions operator.

Aftera judge heard the case in Federal Court back on February 14th,the judge made a final decision Tuesday.
