March is National Red Cross month and the need for blood is high in the Northeast. Given the difficult winter we've had, donors have been unable to make it as frequently as they might like and some drives have been postponed or canceled. Young Kiara Pacheco was stricken with a horrible disease at just five years old, but her community rallied a series of blood drives and today she is a healthy seven year old.
