AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) -- Maine's chief justice is ready to present her annual address to state lawmakers.
Chief Justice Leigh Saufley will deliver her "State of the Judiciary" address Tuesday to a joint session of the Maine Legislature.
It's unclear what the theme of the address will be.
Last year, Saufley said court security had improved, important steps had been taken to combat domestic violence in the state and the rate of juvenile detention was down. But she also said large caseloads, aging courthouses and outdated technology continued to be problems.
