SHERMAN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Threepeople were injured in a car crash in Sherman Saturday morning.

State troopers responded to the crash just before 7am on Benedicta Road.

State police say Nicole Goguen of Houlton was driving a 2004 Ford pick-up truck when she struck a utility pole, breaking the pole and totaling the truck.

The two passengers, Cody McNally and Breanne Briggs,suffered minor injuries along with Goguen.All three were wearing seatbelts.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Cameron McNally has beencharged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
