MANITOWOC, Wisconsin (WTMJ) -- Steven Gove was riding his bike on his way home from his paper route when he was hit by a suspected drunk driver.

He was impaled through the windshield, and lived to tell his story.

Gove was amazingly left with just a scratch on his head that didn't even need stitches.

"I was just pedaling along and thinking about having some pea soup and next thing I know I'm in someone's car," Gove explained.

Gove blacked out for a moment after the impact and when he woke up he was inside this car.

"I said hello, you just hit me with your car on my bicycle. He didn't say anything," Gove said.
