PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (WJAR) -- Officers in a Providence courtroom forcibly removed a woman who lashed out Monday at the man accused of killing her son.

"It's not over, you coward! You killed an innocent boy!" Reina Rodriguez shouted.

Rodriguez exploded with anger and grief as her son's alleged killer, 34-year-old William Tate, appeared for arraignment on a fugitive from justice charge.

Her emotions continued outside the court after the hearing.

"You go and kill him in cold blood, and leave his body there in the middle of winter, just leave him dead," Rodriguez said.

Her son, 26-year-old David Rodriguez, was found shot to death outside the Ships' Cove apartment complex in Fall River early Sunday morning.

Tate, of East Providence, was arrested by Rhode Island State Police later on Sunday.
