AUBURN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The city of Auburn has ceremoniously broken ground on a new phase of the Auburn Industrial Park.

Phase II has been in the works for years. The 100 acre site comes thanks to a federal donation of $1.7 million that the city matched. It's an investment city leaders believe will pay off; estimates show the project could produce in excess of $1.2-million annually in new property taxes, and create more than 200 jobs over the next 10 to 15 years.
