LOS ANGELES (AP) - Travelers across the country are feeling ripple effects from yesterday's shooting at Los Angeles International Airport.
Airport spokeswoman Nancy Castles says about 167,000 passengers and 1,550 flights have been affected.
Terminal 3 remains closed as the investigation into the shooting continues.
A Transportation Security Administration officer was killed when a gunman opened fire in the terminal. Five other people were hurt, including two TSA workers and the alleged gunman.
Flights are arriving and departing from LAX, but airlines are cautioning that passengers may experience delays and should check their flight status before heading to the airport.
