ROCHESTER, NH (NEWS CENTER) -- If you're a quilting enthusiast, what better way to spend your weekend than at an event that not only has a lot to see, but gives back to the community as well?

The Cocheco Quilters Guild is based out of Dover, NH and they host an annual quilt show at the Rochester Community Center in Rochester, NH. This is their 32nd show and every year dozens of quilts are on display - some judged, some not, but every piece is unique and has a story to tell.

Among those quilts is a raffle quilt - the very first quilt you will see upon entering the main doors. Every year a guild member sews a large quilt that is put up for the raffle. The proceeds from those tickets sold are distributed to local charities. This year the recipients include the NH Food Bank, Families in Transition and the New England Quilt Museum. Every year the ticket bucket is filled to the brim with hopeful entrants.

Many local vendors, including fabric and craft boutique shops, frequent this show from Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
