Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets made a change at punter on Monday, releasing starter Robert Malone and signing free agent punter Ryan Quigley.

Malone punted 16 times over New York's first two games of the season and averaged 46.3 yards per punt.

Quigley was with the Jets during the preseason.

The Jets also re-signed linebacker Scott Solomon, who was cut last week, while signing linebacker Danny Lansanah to the practice squad and waiving wide receiver Rahsaan Vaughn from the practice squad.
