VASSALBORO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Maine Warden Service welcomed 7 new game wardens. They were sworn in on Friday at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro.

The ceremony marks the end of an intensive 30-week training program.

The new game wardens are:

Game Warden William Shuman (from Waldoboro) - assigned to Rockwood District

Game Warden Evan Ackley (from Marshfield) - assigned to Clayton Lake

Game Warden Christopher Roy (from Fort Kent) - assigned to Fort Kent

Game Warden Lucas Bellanceau (from Woodstock, CT) - assigned to Fryeburg

Game Warden Christopher Sargent (from Ellsworth) - assigned to Bucksport

Game Warden Carleton Richardson (from Waterboro) - assigned to Sanford

Game Warden Timothy Coombs (from Wilton) - assigned to Strong
