WELLS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Wells police say that a man has been arrested after a traffic stop that led to the discovery of drugs.

Police say Thursday morning at around 11:30am, officers stopped 33-year-old Justin Tully 33, of LKA 45 Seaview Dr, Wells for speeding on Merriland Ridge Road. After an investigation police determined Tully was impaired and arrested for Operating Under the Influence. Police searched the vehicle and discovered contraband the following drugs:

0.8 grams of Heroin
44 grams Hashish
60 pills of Diazepam
40 pills of Lorazepam
11 Hypodermic needles and a collection of drug paraphernalia

Mr. Tully was charged with possession of a schedule W drug (Heroin), a Class C felony and will wait indictment on the other charges. Bail was set at $1000.00 and he was transported to the York County Jail.
