OZARK, Missouri (KYTV) -A 51-year-old terminally ill woman from Ozark, Missouri is selling nearly everything she owns in hopes of paying for her upcoming funeral expenses. After fighting for two years, Roxanne Allen's cancer is quickly taking its toll.

"My body is unable to receive the nutrients from my food anymore, so I am slowly starving to death," she said Thursday afternoon.

Allen was told by doctors she has no more than a few weeks to live, so she is selling much of what she owns in life to pay for her passing.

I have to do this for my mom. And I have all this stuff to sell that will help pay for my cremation. And I didn't want to have to leave all this mess for my mom to have to clean up. Or my children," Allen said.

"That is a precious gift, most of all, on account she want to do it herself and not have me worry about it when that day comes," said Shirley Waddell, Allen's mother.

It has been an emotional time for those close to Allen.

"I see her tear up every once in a while when she looks at something that has some emotional or sentimental value and watch someone walk away with it," said Daniel Beckett, Allen's partner. "I love Roxanne and I look in her eyes and it is a gift and that is how I find the strength is spending time with her. And of course, God.

While there are physical reasons for the sale, it's also serving as a time to prepare, together.

"Well, I tell you, it is hard. I guess in a way I have been in denial and all of the sudden it has hit me, and I am still in denial," Said Waddell.

When you look at the stuff for sale, you can't help but notice a lot of icons of faith. They are clues as to where Allen finds her strength.

"God carries me," Allen said. "By the grace of God, I am going out quietly."
