PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- TheChildren's Museum & Theatre of Maine took advantage ofMonday's sun to get some of Portland's kids outside and using their minds.

They held one of two pop-up playscapes, bringing along recycled materials and a few artists and volunteers... and justlet kids get creative; the result was an entire community out of cardboard.

The kids made trains, airplanes, and houses.Above all, they learned valuable skills - like teamwork.

The next pop-up playscape will be held on August 31st on the Eastern Promenade.
