Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks officially signed free- agent guard O.J. Mayo on Saturday.
Terms were not disclosed, but the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported the deal to be worth $24 million over three years.
Mayo joins the Bucks after a one-year stint with the Dallas Mavericks, for whom he poured in 15.3 points per contest while starting all 82 games. He also averaged a career-high 4.4 assists and shot a personal-best 40.7 percent from 3-point range.
The 25-year-old Mayo spent the first four years of his career with Memphis. In 383 games, the 2008 No. 3 overall pick has averaged 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
