YARMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- It's so hot outside that your plants may be looking distressed. But just because they are wilting, they do not necessarily need more water.

We have had several inches of rain over the last week. The ground is still wet.Sometimes plants wilt just because it's hot.

Tom Estabrook of Estabrook's in Yarmouth has some tips on knowing when and how to water. He also says it's time to keep an eye out for Black Spot and Japanese Beetles.
