LEWISTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- In its 18th year, the Androscoggin Business to Business Trade Show is breaking records for exhibitors, selling out the Androscoggin Bank Colisee for the eighth year in a row.

More than 165 exhibitors were part of the show on Thursday, and organizers added an outdoor venue outside the Colisee to accomodate demand.

"We're pulling people in from as far away as California, attendees coming up from Tennessee," said Calvin Rinck, Marketing Director for the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council.

"We've got people from all over the nation to be at this event, because for the state of Maine, if you have to go to one event, this is the one to be at," said Rinck.

Rinck estimated at least 2,500 people attended this year's show.

The Business to Business Trade show is Maine's largest one-day business networking event.

"We view this as not just a trade show, but a community piece," said Rinck.

In addition to businesses from 60 different industries, community groups and municipalities set up booths at the show, adding up to 200 displays.
