Officials say that the black lab, Lady, was taken to Lincoln County Animal Control and while they were attempting to spay the dog, they noticed the BB pellets. X-Rays showLady was shot in the face, belly, and back. It also showed just how many times the dog was shot.

Lady has been adopted by a new family and all say she is doing well. A veterinarian says they will not remove the BB's for now.
