SKOWHEGAN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Skowhegan field hockey player Sarah Finnemore isn't just helping the Indians win state championships, she's also a standout in the classroom. The senior is headed to Harvard in the fall.

Sarah is an only child, but considers the Skowhegan field hockey girls her sisters. She was inspired by older girls on the team when she was a freshman. They went to Harvard to play field hockey, so she wanted to too.

"It's just something I've always wanted to do," she says.

She credits much of her success to her time management skills and her parents.

"They definitely have my best interests in mind," she says, "They're just there to help me."
