LEWISTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Crews cleaning up the three building apartment fire in Lewiston expect it to take several more days.

Friday they are focused on asbestos removal. Site contractors say the cancer causing material was found in the building at 105 Blake Street, where the fire broke out.

It still unsafe for people to go near the site-- and the road is closed as clean up continues.

Crews expect to be there until Monday- the same day the 12 year old boy arrested for arson makes his first court appearance. Police say the boy caused one million dollars in damage.

One thing workers found in the rubble -- and don't want to throw away -- is a large American flag, still intact.

Contractors think it might be a military flag -- and they're hoping the owner will come back to the site of the fire to retrieve it.
