BANGOR, Maine (NEWSCENTER) -- April school vacation is right around the corner. Here are a few ideas of some events in the area:
- At the Maine Discovery Museum, April vacation will mean discovering medieval castles, pirate ships, and the moon.
- At the Challenger Learning Center in Bangor is five days of exploration and discovery including Angry Birds physics and sending pets into space.
- If your children prefer the great outdoors,The Fields Pond Audobon Center in Holden is offering an April Vacation Camp called Guardians of the Earth. Explore streams, look for wildlife, and learn about recylcing.
- For the child with a flair for drama, the Penobscot Theater Company is holding a vacation camp. During camp, students will explore acting, movement, theater crafts, improvisation, and games all centered on a theme that will change daily.
