(KVEO) A group of four Mission High School students will soon have a one of a kind experience to help explore the possibilities of aerospace studies after being selected in a Texas aerospace scholars program.

The selected were Jasmine Garza, Arturo Guerrero, Flor Benavides, and Andy Garcia.

"This is a great opportunity for them it is great to see these students accept this challenge and interact with some of the top students in the state.", says Eric Guiterrez a physics teacher at Mission High School.

The group of four students will get a chance to practice their science, technology, engineering, and math skills, which will help them in the future.

After completion of their program the students will have the opportunity to participate in a six day residential summer program at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
