BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Bangor Police Department says a standoff on Bolling Drive ended after finding one person dead inside a home.
In a new release from Bangor Police Sgt. Paul Edwards, he says police were called to the home at 49 Bolling Drive after a woman and her son fled the residence. She told police that her husband had brandished a gun during a domestic disturbance.
She told police that as they left they heard what sounded like a gunshot.
A little over two hours later, the Bangor Police Department's Special Response and Bomb Teams entered the home and found one person dead.
The Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
Police are not releasing the name of the deceased at this time.
