MILLINOCKET, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- Two U.S. Marines, Sean Gobin and Mark Silvers hiked the entire Appalachian Trail to raise money to help disabled veterans get adaptive vehicles.

Nearly 45 motorcycles rode up to Millinocket from Bangor for the spaghetti dinner. The dinner was free of charge, but donations were accepted for Gobin's and Silvers' cause. It took the two marines four and a half months to complete the more than 2,000 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail.

Gobin said it was a great experience and he would like to see other military members hike the trail next year to raise money for veterans and make this an annual event.

"We wanna use warrior hike to raise money for veteran next year who decide they want to hike the Appalachian Trail as a transitional activity from military to civilian life," Gobin said.

Gobin and Silvers will be attending grad school at the University of Virginia this fall. If you like to donate to their cause, you can visit warriorhike.com
